I was tooling down Ocean Avenue in Santa Monica when I spied this ASMA CLS SHARK II parked at the side of the road. Seeing as how this isn't an everyday occurrence, I slammed on the brakes, grabbed my camera and got a couple of quick shots in before the car's owner returned.
He seemed a bit more amiable than the Audi full of Germans I'd encountered a couple of weeks ago, so I asked him how long he'd had the car. He replied that he'd only picked up it from the dealership a few days ago, and that there are only two of these cars in the entire United States!
Lucky him.
As you can tell from the photos, it's a gorgeous piece of exotic machinery, boasting near flawless craftsmanship and a sleeker than usual Mercedes profile.
