I made a run up to Seattle this weekend, as there were a lot of car events going on that Carster just had to check out (and I needed a good espresso fix, too - with white chocolate! I recommend the White Velvet at Vivace's on Capitol Hill; my sweet tooth is still flipping cartwheels).
The highlight of the weekend was the drive to Mt. Baker. A large group of cars met up at the Cascade Mall in Burlington, WA, and the plan was that everyone would head up to Mt. Baker together for a meet-up and party. I joined the group with fellow Carster members Nick and Nwassult, plus some other great guys. Everyone revved their engines and we all took off for the hills.
The drive was a blast, the weather was perfect (which is unusual for Washington State) and there were approximately 77 cars snaking up the roads, ranging from tuned out Skylines to caged-up, old-school Beamers. Everyone drove like pros - no trouble, no tickets.
